Welcome!

Welcome!

I can truthfully declare that I love what I do and do what I love. Assisting people to re-organize their lives when facing aging challenges, coping with grief, improving health, and eliminating a lifetime of clutter. Learning to better manage these challenges has allowed my clients to regain control of their lives and improve their overall well-being.

I was born and raised in Israel. After serving in the Israeli Defense Force, I moved to the United States and pursued a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Florida Atlantic University. Upon graduation, I had the privilege of working as a social worker with seniors and bereaved families for more than a decade.

In 2015, I combined my passion for helping older adults with my love for organizing and founded “The Organizing Whisperer. My mission was to help people who are going through grief, loss and life’s transitions how to let go of physical & mental excess from their lives to create balance and clarity.

As I was working with my clients on their clutter challenges, I found myself needing to support them in other areas of their lives, such as learning to manage their health better and to cope with loss and grief as they age. To serve my clients better, I earned certifications as a Grief Support Specialist and a Health Coach for older adults. Now I offer an umbrella of profound knowledge and tools to assist older adults as they unlearn their previous self into learning their best new self.

I am a proud member of the National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals (NAPO) and have served as the South Florida chapter’s Program Director for two years.

I currently serve as an Instructor at the Life Long Learning Institute (OLLI) at Florida International University, where I facilitate a semester-long organizing course called “Life Beyond Clutter.”

Today, my mission is to empower older adults in any way I can to reclaim balance and restore their well-being. As the great Albert Einstein once stated, “Learn from yesterday, live for today, and hope for tomorrow. The important thing is never to stop asking questions”. I believe that we should always strive to look at our lives with hope and ask questions so we can continue to thrive as we age.

Looking forward to helping you to grow through what you go through

Warmly,
Carmel
